This amazing yeast produces both acid and alcohol in fermentation and was developed for commercial use from a foraged yeast isolated in West Philadelphia by the sharp scientific minds at USciences.
Building flavor and mouthfeel from a combination of our Colonial Pilsner, Pale Oats, and Small Valley Mills Rolled Oats, this sour ale bursts to life with bright citrus notes from the Philly Sour fermentation and an addition of lemon puree.
