We are thankful for YOU!

Most stories of Thanksgiving history begin with the harvest celebration of the pilgrims and the Native Americans that took place in the autumn of 1621. A three-day feast in celebration of a good harvest. This was simply a gathering among locals to express gratitude for what the land provided, but it has become a symbol of much more and was later proclaimed a national holiday by Lincoln in 1863.

At Deer Creek, we are grateful to do something we are passionate about, to add value to the local food system, and to be part of an incredible community of locavores, artisans, and makers. Although this years grain harvest was challenging, we still take pause to celebrate another year of learning, growing, and building a stronger community around Pennsylvania Craft Malt. For this we give thanks to the many farmers, brewers, bakers, distillers, consumers, and MANY others we now call friends.

Teamwork requires contribution, collaboration, cooperation, communication and commitment. THANK YOU to those who have bought into to the vision of a more sustainable grain & malt supply chain. We are committed to high quality, flavorful, malt ingredients made from locally grown grain that deliver innovation and authenticity to the craft food & beverage marketplace.

Happy Thanksgiving!
